B&J Specialty, Inc. provides complete mold and die design, fabrication, and repair services. Whether it is the repair or modification of existing tooling, or complete fabrication of a new mold or die set, our in-house team has the tools and capabilities to complete any job. Examples of mold fabrication capabilities include plastic injection, shuttle, single & multi-cavity, stack/tandem, and collapsible cores. All tooling is fabricated from the highest quality tool steel, copper, beryllium copper, or aluminum alloy, in dimensions up to 78" x 62" x 72". Our equipment is capable of machining components up 15,000 lbs., lifting capacity of 30,000 lb., and transportation capacity of 55,000 lbs., with typical lead times of only 6-8 weeks on new tooling. We understand that information is key. Our customers are issued weekly progress reports that provide details of a project's progress and delivery schedule.

Our 24-hour emergency mold and die repair services get customers up and running with minimal downtime, while our comprehensive preventative maintenance plans help prevent downtime altogether. In-house pick-up and delivery offers customers the highest degree of convenience and speed.

All work is done to customer specified or industry standard tolerance, with a standard dimensional tolerance of ±.0005. CMM equipment is capable of measuring parts up to 39.5" x 63" x 24", and optical comparators can match parts directly with CAD drawings.
