B&J Specialty, Inc. delivers precision EDM services designed to produce complex, high-accuracy components at competitive pricing. Our capabilities include 4-axis wire EDM and ram EDM machining, along with hole-popping capabilities, allowing us to efficiently produce intricate features with exceptional repeatability.

Our EDM systems are equipped with automated tool changers and configured for lights-out manufacturing, enabling continuous machining once setup is complete. This approach increases production capacity, reduces labor costs, and allows us to offer economical solutions for jobs of any size without sacrificing quality.

Using graphite electrodes, we create complex geometries in hardened metals, including tool steels, without the need for annealing or post-machining heat treatment. EDM machining eliminates heat distortion, making it ideal for components manufactured from steel, aluminum, copper, and beryllium copper alloys.

We achieve tolerances as tight as ±0.0003 inches with surface finishes down to 6 RMS. Our wire EDM tank accommodates parts up to 20" × 14" × 12", while our ram EDM offers a working envelope of up to 47" × 25" × 19".
