B&J Specialty provides 3D Printing of Steel. This material, known as “Maraging Steel”, is able to be hardened, machined and even polished. This opens up a wide span of possibilities for its use.  B&J is now utilizing the DMP “Direct Metal Printing” technology to create geometry that would normally be impossible using normal manufacturing methods. We are applying Conformal Cooling strategies into our designs for the molding world. And also designing and printing fixtures and brackets utilizing the technology of the machine allowing B&J to reduce weight and still maintain strength by applying lattice and mesh geometry. What was once only a designers dream is now achievable.
